- Key Notes by Dr. Li Lailai (Internationale Institute for the Environment and Development, IIED) and Dr. Christine Loh (Civic Exchange, Hongkong).
- Followed by a debate with Dr. Gudrun Wacker (Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik) Uwe Kleinert ("fair spielt", Heidelberg), Christof Klitz (Volkswagen AG) and Dr. Barbara Unmüßig (Heinrich Böll Foundation).

11am – 2pm Workshop: China- Contradictions in the Land of the Dragon
Further information: This workshop is meant to deepen the information given at the prior panel, providing enough time to ask questions and to go into broader and deeper discussion. What are the drawbacks of China's rise to a global power? Which consequences for environment and social policies result from its immense economic growth? How is civil society organising? If China still sees itself as a developing country, are there chances for cooperation e.g. in the renewable energy or in the human rights sector?

3 - 4.15pm Panel Discussion: How should Europe be constituted?
- Key Note by Prof. Dr. Kalypso Nicolaidis (University Lecturer for International Relations at Oxford University).
- Followed by a debate with Ulrike Lunacek (Co-Chairman of the European Green Party) and Dany Cohn-Bendit (Co-Chairman of the Green parliamentary group in the European Parliament). Moderation: Jürgen Trittin (Deputy Chairman of the Green parliamentary group in the Deutsche Bundestag)
4.30 – 7pm The European Green Party: open questions and perspectives
- In this workshop, several representatives of the various European Green parties discuss the Future of the European Green Party (EGP) as well as their specific situation at home.
